Careers Evening to take place this month

Bournville College is holding a free Careers Evening to help young people make decisions about their career choices, taking place on Wednesday 21st April at 4.30pm at Bournville College.

The event will consist of various talks relevant to a range of careers related to Administration, Art & Design, Beauty, Business, Catering, Childcare, Floristry, Horticulture, Hairdressing, Health & Social Care, IT, Law, Media, Music, Public Services, Sciences, Sport and Travel & Tourism.



Fashioning a career in art and design

When Rachel Faulkner from Northfield left school at the age of 15 she didn’t know what she wanted to do next, so she decided to take a year out from education. During this time, she considered different careers but constantly kept returning to her passion for art. One year on, Rachel had a clear career plan – a profession in art and design.
