Don't Panic
GCSE results are out later on this month and whether you’re ecstatic or disappointed by the letters written on that piece of paper, you can still enrol at Bournville College. Arslan Waheed from Balsall Heath was disappointed with his GCSE results last year but instead of panicking he decided to come to Bournville College and discuss his options.
‘I really wanted to study business and I was hoping that despite my results, I could do something related to this area. When I came to enrol I was told about the BTEC Introductory Diploma in Business, Retail and Administration, so I thought this would be perfect.’ he explained.
College beats A Level records
Hundreds of students at Bournville College were celebrating last week as they gathered to collect their A Level results. Amongst them, Vicky Handley and James Beard were in a jubilant mood, having achieved 3 grades A each.
Vicky said: "I’m really pleased with my achievements and glad that my hard work paid off. My results will guarantee me a place at the University of Birmingham where I’m going to study LLB (Hons) Law degree."
