Bournville College New Build Short Version
The exciting development is planned for completion by September 2011, when Bournville College will relocate to a landmark new campus at Longbridge. The landmark building will have capacity for 15,000 students and bring together the College’s existing three campuses. It will feature the state-of-the-art facilities, including a learning resource centre, business school construction workshop and leisure and sport facilities.

Bournville’s new location and modern spacious premises will enable the College to introduce new courses such as motor-vehicle maintenance and electronics. Furthermore, the new campus will feature excellent training facilities for hairdressing, beauty, catering, construction and sport as well as a state-of-the-art conference centre. Longbridge train station will create an excellent link between the new Bournville College campus and areas further afield such as Redditch, Erdington and Sutton Coldfield.

Progress on site remains firmly on course for opening in September 2011.The various buildings on site are now really taking shape with the external walls to the sports hall virtually complete and the steel frame of the conference centre standing proud. The lift shaft walls now climb into the sky and the site is always a hive of activity.
